Giving Back to the Community

Feri and I are very active members in our community.  In being active members in our community we try to give back to the many organizations we are affiliated with, whether for business or pleasure.

One community we are very active in is the Step One School community.  Step One school is a non-profit nursery school that has been in existence for over 25 years. 

In honor of Step One School and their we have offered to donate 10% of any commission we receive from a transaction with a Step One family, friend or community member back to Step One School!

This is only a small token of our appreciation for the school and what they offer the community!

We also donate to our Red Oak Realty R.O.O.F fund which stands for the RED OAK OPPORTUNITY FOUNDATION.

Red Oak Realty, as the East Bay's largest independent real estate brokerage, gives grants to local non-profit organizations who do not receive significant funding from other sources, through the charitable foundation R.O.O.F.

Contributions to R.O.O.F. come from Red Oak Realty agents, matching grants from the company, clients, business associates, and friends.

Since 1985, ROOF has given grants totaling more than $600,000. In 2006 alone, ROOF raised over $100,000.

Grants are determined by a rotating committee of owners and agents of Red Oak Realty.
